NJS Social has launched a critical initiative titled “Ensure Clean Water in Flood-Affected Areas” in Bangladesh. Recognizing the devastating impact of floods, which often leave communities without access to safe drinking water, NJS Social is stepping in to provide clean, potable water to those in need.

Flooding can severely contaminate water sources, leading to waterborne diseases and worsening the humanitarian crisis. As part of this campaign, NJS Social aims to ensure that families in flood-affected areas have access to clean and safe drinking water to prevent illness and improve overall health conditions.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Installation of water purification systems: Deploying portable and long-term water filtration units in the worst-affected regions.
  • Distribution of safe drinking water: Providing bottled water and clean water through tankers to communities lacking safe sources.
  • Hygiene education: Conducting awareness programs on waterborne diseases and the importance of clean water and sanitation during floods.
